Born and raised on the South side of Chicago DeMarlo "Marlo" Hatchett is an artist dedicated to hip-hop culture. From an early age, Marlo enjoyed performing impressions of his favorite artists and recreated their videos. By the age of 16, he had developed his own style of putting together a unique blend of words to form a rhyme. Deeply influenced by traditional elements of hip-hop culture, Marlo often tagged trains and other public spaces. While working as a traveling salesman, he found himself detached from his creative nature. He returned to his hometown, where he renewed his focus on music. His reputation on the streets as a freestyle emcee grew as he indulged himself in perfecting his art. A survivor of multiple gunshot wounds, Marlo has overcome many obstacles in his life, and will not stop until he has conquered his dreams. His determination to inspire others with his music is evident in his C.I.A.M. (Creativity Is A Must) Entertainment's "Strive to Make a Change" campaign. Marlo has displayed his lyrical prowers on self-produced mixtapes "Mission Impossible", "The Struggle", and the forthcoming "C.I.A.M Music presents blackskinny in the arrivial mixtape vol. 1".
