Best Rock Band In South Florida

Ghost of Gloria is a four piece modern rock band out of South Florida that has never settled on average. The band formed in the fall of 2007 while recording and writing with Producer/Song writer Corey Lowery (Dark New Day, Stereomud.) Since it's inception, the band has hit the South Florida music scene like a tidal wave, amassing a following in just a few short months by attaining song rotation on WPBZ 103.1 The Buzz and virtually non stop performances in venues ranging from South Miami to Gainesville, FL. The band is signed to reputable and aggressive Bieler Bros. Records, home of great bands like NonPoint, Skindred, and Fiction Plane. Ghost of Gloria's first album is slated to be released in the summer of 2009. Drawing from influences such as Foo Fighters, Incubus, Sevendust, Tool and more, Ghost of Gloria mixes the sounds and emotions that have shaped each member's talent, and the life experiences that have developed their perspectives. "We make music that means something to each of us," says lead vocalist and guitarist John D'Angelo. "...and I think you can hear that in our songs." Ghost of Gloria recently took top prize in the much acclaimed Pick the Band contest and received numerous prizes including a track produced by legendary producer Don Gilmore (Linkin Park, Avril Lavigne, Lit, Good Charlotte.)
